VETWELVE – two wins from six starts this campaign, fresh off a Kembla win, could surprise.

Race 2 CHRISTA – last start Taree winner first-up, soft draw, might go two-from-two this prep. POWDER MAN – back from a let-up, just missed here on a soft track, could land in the money. LIGHT INFANTRY – fitter now and lurking like a drunk uncle at a wedding buffet.

Race 3 FERMOY – $1.9M colt who should be breathing fire late. NINJA – kicked and gone at Kembla last start, can go again. CROWN THE KING – Newcastle mudder and stable knows how to win. Karinska – Waller filly resuming after chasing slipper dreams.
