Race 1 MONKHANA finally cracked one here last start on a bog and now has to prove the lungs work over a longer trip — marginal top pick if she stays upright. WILD THOUGHTS is literally living up to the name, chasing a Kembla hat trick like it’s trivia night at the pub. Be Real ($14) will love the trip — and let’s be honest, with Brad Widdup in charge, she might just sneak under the radar.

Race 2 GHOST WALKER returns from a spell and has unfinished business — narrowly done last start, like forgetting your wallet at Macca’s. SOLITARIO is so consistent he’s basically the office worker who never takes a sick day. WARRIOR FOR PEACE brings trial form and a catchy name — dangerous combo.

Race 3 SACRED ROCKS is tough as nails and the one they’ll have to get past. AMREEKIYAH has the fresh legs and the talent to strike again — the pick if you like momentum. SISTER DAAE with the blinkers on for the first time is basically a horse in laser-focus mode.

Race 4 SEVEN’S was good fresh and sticks like glue on heavy. CAPTAIN FURAI hasn’t quite put it together yet, but today could be the day. NKOSI is Wyong’s pride — could sneak in at odds.

Race 5 AMUSING just keeps winning — three on the trot and absolutely loving this track. TAZIMA is the late closer with one hell of a finish. PURE ALPHA can sneak a placing if things go pear-shaped.

Race 6 PROVIDENCE comes in fresh and mysterious. GRAND PRAIRIE is the reliable metro-level type who just keeps showing up like your mate at trivia night. SIXTIES could pop up in the exotics.
