Well punters it was a cold wet old day in Sydney town

we headed west to Warwick Farm some very small fields but we had some nice collects

the 1st race had 4 runners only with FEAR NO EVIL getting home to win had to fight off a protest

race 2 was won by CHANGE MY ADDRESS was too strong for the black book THE PEARLS

race 3 was won by FIRST PERSON nice win on the wet track EXECUTIVE DECISION complete forget run knuckled at the start went down on its nose and was never a factor

race 4 KNIGHTS ARMOUR won well eased up on line was the better mud runner BLACK RUN Rise in trip suited storming home late eating up the margin into 2nd

race 5 was taken out by APEX he was too classy for these

race 6 was won by GOOD PRIZE winner of 4 now in a row SOUNDS UNUSUAL found trouble at the top of the straight and found the line late would he have won not sure but would of made it interesting

last race saw PIGGYBACK storm down the outside late to just get there over LADY BOSS generally strong 2nd up and drawn the rails,fought hard and just missed,. LITTLE COINTREAU had excuses

The Port Macquarie race meeting scheduled for today has been called off following a storm that swept the course dumping 20mls of rain.The track now has surface water with the forecast for further rain during the day.

and of course Tuesdays meeting The Newcastle race meeting scheduled for Tuesday 20th May has been abandoned.The course has been deemed unsuitable for racing after receiving 101mls of rain over the last 24 hours and 206mls during the past 7 days. Connections of any accepted horse at Newcastle will have until 8am on Tuesday to nominate for Goulburn's Provincial race meeting scheduled for Thursday (22nd May
